# Plugins

> Extend the capabilities of Contentful Personalization SDKs.

Contentful Personalization plugins are extensions that extend the functionality of the Contentful Personalization Experience SDK. These plugins allow you to:

* track impression events of content entries and experiment & personalization variants.
* provide a UI to toggle audiences, experiments, and variants in your existing content preview workflows.
* control what Contentful Personalization event data are sent to the Experience API based on user consent.
